Junk King takes a variety of different residential junk and commercial junk, including old furniture and appliances. David Donovan says, “We want to make our customers feel like they have welcomed us into their home.” It’s not just a simple business transaction. “They’re making a new connection and acquaintance with our team.”

The mission at Junk King is to recycle, repurpose, and reuse as much as possible from every junk haul. This goal is definitely more achievable at Junk King South Denver because of the extra location – South Denver and North Denver – and the relationships with local recyclers, non-profits, and charities.

David Donovan says, “We will accept almost anything, except hazardous materials, as long we can recycle, donate or dispose of it responsibly without a license.” Junk King’s mission is to recycle, repurpose or reuse at least two thirds of each junk haul.

Metals are found in household appliances and electronic waste. These metals can be harmful to the environment if they are disposed of in landfills. These metals can be used in other products when they are disposed of responsibly. Metals such as stainless steel and copper are recyclable, while more hazardous metals should be kept away from landfills.
